Up for bid is an UNMARKED Gold Masonic Badge. Weighs 37.5 Pennyweight (58.3 grams). Gold spot today is $881. Melts @$865 for 14k. I am told this is 14k and I am confident if it were scrapped it would pass muster as 14k. 5 1/4 inches ling. 2 1/2 inches at its widest. Hammatt and East Boston on the front. One mine cut diamond approximately 1/2 carat size and a blue glass stone accent the front. The back is engraved Hammatt Lodge. M.(?) B. Frederic B. Duncan P.M. 1925 East Boston 1927. The only negative I can find is the pin is replaced by a piece of green wire. Otherwise, a stunning souvenir of MASONIC history. NO BUY IT NOW OFFERED. NO AFTER AUCTION OFFERS ACCEPTED.
